Usually, this is caused by a lost connection between our server and your computer. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control. You'll need to try again. You may have better luck during non-peak hours (evenings after dinner). If you're having trouble downloading the WinOS Lite version of the software, try downloading the two disk image set. It may take you more time overall, but each individual image takes less time. Less time means that you'll probably be able to stay connected long enough to get the entire file.
Your browser is not configured properly for a file with that extension (the last three letters in the file name, after the dot). Your browser is trying to display the file instead of downloading it.
The quick fix is to click and hold down the mouse button on the download link (right-mouse button on a PC). You'll see a menu pop up at the mouse pointer. Chose "Save a Copy As", or a command with similar wording. By doing this, you'll be telling the browser specifically to download the linked file. If the file is a .sit or .bin or .zip file and needs decoding, you can decode it manually by running the correct decoding software.
The permanent fix is to go into your browser preference window. Go to the Helper Applications section and enter this file extension, then set it to download files with that extension.
Usually, this means that the download file is corrupt. This can happen if the server or the network is very busy. Try downloading the file again. Also check that the file size you downloaded is the correct size by comparing it with the size listed next to the download link. For example, download WinOS application (Setup61.exe, approximate file size is 2.6 mb's). If your file size is only 2.0 mb's, then you need to download the software again.
