This section is divided into three areas: All Users, WinOS
Users, MacOS Users. You should check out at least two of the
three sections depending on which OS you are using. This is a
limited run version of the Hearing Office Pro software that can
be changed to unlimited use with an activation key. The software
will operate and be fully functional for a period of 30 days after
installation. If you wish to continue trying/evaluating the Hearing
Office Pro after that time, you will need to reinstall the program.
You may also purchase the product at anytime by following the
instructions in the Menu file. If there are problems using this
software, please send an email and report the problems. If you

Downloading Software
All Users
- There are now two versions of the Hearing Office Software:
Lite and Pro. This page is for downloading of the the Pro version.
The Lite version of the software has been available for download
since 1995. Click here to go the Lite
software page and complete your download.
- The Pro version of the software has more features than the
Lite version. The Hearing Office Pro is what you will download
on this page. If you already installed the Lite version,
you can also install the Pro version. They are based on different
run time engines and will not interfere with each other. The
two programs are not compatible--ie installing the Pro version
will not upgrade a Lite installation. This will also allow you
to evaluate both programs on your computer at the same time.
The Pro software will allow you to evaluate whether you will
want/need to purchase it. The Pro version will work for approximately
30 days without purchase. If you decide that you want to use
the Pro version after 30 days, you will need to purchase the

- Most offices will find that the Lite version meets their
needs, and does so by not costing them a penny to purchase. Some
offices may want to take advantage of the expanded features in
the Pro version. If you would like more information, click here to view a page which
does a feature by feature comparison.
- The Hearing Office software makes extensive use of documents
formatted as .pdf files. The .pdf, portable document format,
was developed by Adobe Inc. and provides documents that can be
read on any computer provided that you have the correct document
reader. All of Adobe's readers are free. If do not have at least
version 4.0 of Adobe Reader, select download
reader.(http://www.adobe.com) Adobe Reader 5.x or higher
is recommended for faster viewing and printing. You will need
this application to view and print the Hearing Office manual.

WinOS Users
Windows 3.1 Users
- The Hearing Office Pro was designed for a 32 bit operating
system. Windows 3.1 is a 16 bit operating system. If you are
presently using Windows 3.1 you will need to upgrade to Windows
95 or higher. The Hearing Office Pro is NOT COMPATIBLE
with the Win 3.1 OS--sorry.
Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP Users
- Select download WinOS application (Setuphrp.exe,
file size is 6,880 kb's) to get your free copy of the
Hearing Office Pro software. This version of the Hearing Office
Pro will operate for 30 days without purchase. After 30 days
the program will prompt you for an activation key. After 30 days
you will need to purchase an activation key to continue using
the program. If you purchase an activation key, the 30 day restriction
will be removed. There is no need to download another program
or pay for a CD. If 30 days wasn't enough time for you to evaluate
the program, simple remove the software using the uninstaller
and reinstall.
- When you finish downloading, quit all applications and double
click on the Setuphrp.exe file to automatically install the Hearing
Office Pro software. Check that the downloaded file size matches
the approximate size listed above. If the sizes are not the same,
you did not get the entire file and will receive an error when
yoiu try to install the program. If this happens, you will need
to download the program again--sorry!
MacOS Users
- At the present time there is no a Mac based Pro version available
for download--sorry! If you would like a MacOS version, please
tell me by sending an email. If there are enough requests, I
will make one available.
