I'm updating the look and feel of the web site. There will be greater focus on the Basin Audiology portion of the site. I hope you like the updates and find the site easier to use. Links to the other sections, software, biking. photography, etc. . . , are available under the site map at the top of each page.

Updated Article: Do they make cell phones that work with hearing aids? Also, what's a telecoil?
(I've updated the file that was originally posted in October 2006). The short answer to this questions is Yes, and telecoils make it easier to use the phone with a hearing aid. You will want to read the summary that Haley prepared for complete information before purchasing your cell phone. There is also information on land line or wire line telephones. Not sure what a telecoil does? We've included a good summary on telecoils in all types of phones. I placed a link here (about 1400kb's to download). to a pdf document that you can download to your computer. You will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader to view this file. If you need more information or don't know what Acrobat Reader is, don't despair. The reader is FREE for all computer operating systems. Click here to visit Adobe's site and download a reader.
