I created this page to post training video and personal video for Armando Lara. In the Spring of 2010, Armando transferred from the Forest Service in Klamath Falls, OR to Redmond, OR to begin training as a smokejumper.The videos posted on this site are subject to the Conditions of Use statement provided by Louis Du Brey. The Videos

• The videos are Apple Quick time movies in different file formats. You will need to install the free Apple Quick time player with web browser plug in order to view the movies by clicking on the links below. The high resolution videos are in .mp4. High resolution video was captured at 720 dpi 30 frames per second. The high resolution video are more suitable for downloading and viewing offline. The desktop video is exactly the same but has been down sampled from the high resolution video and will stream nicely over the web. The desktop videos are in .mov format and load quickly. The trade-off with the desktop video is that you view it in a small window. There are are iphone versionthat requires the apple phone for viewing. If you don't have Quick time installed, click here to visit Apple's site and download the free Apple Quick time player.
• If you don't want to install the Quick time software, download the high resolution videos by right clicking on the link and "Save As" to your computer. You will need a media player, such as real audio, itunes, quick time player, or VLC player to view them. The high resolution videos are easier to hear and view, but take more time to download.
