Recently there was interest in the photos I shot of the 2005
OIT Hustling Owls Women's Basketball season. I created this page
so that basketball fans could view some of the pictures. The
slide shows are subject to the Conditions
of Use statement provided by Louis Du Brey. If this is your
first time to a hearingoffice.com web site, please view this
statement by clicking the link on the left side of the page before
proceeding.

OIT Women's Basketball Season
- This
page is about the OIT women's basketball season. To learn more
about OIT's programs click here
to visit their web site. If you want to know more about OIT athletics,
click here to visit the school web site.
- I
attended most of the games this year. My daughter was a freshman
on the team. I had a great time taking these pictures with my
new Canon D1 Mark II. You're only going to see about 150 of those
photos in the two shows I've included.
- I've
prepared several downloads for you below:
- About
The Event
- The
files in this section are in portable document format, pdf. To
view these files you must have Adobe's Acrobat Reader installed.
If you don't already have this installed on your computer, visit
Adobe's site, www.adobe.com, and download it for free.
Readers are available for most operating systems. Click on the
links below to view online. PC users can also use the right mouse
button to click on the file link and "Save Target As"
directly to your hard drive. There are several files here:
- Click
here--it's
not done yet so check back later--to download
a file that contains a scrapbook of newspaper clips and articles
about the team. Most of the clips came from the Herald and News.
Reading this file makes it convenient for you to learn about
the team play this year. If you want to keep up on local Klamath
Falls events, click here to visit the Herald and News web site.
- Click
here to download a file that will
teach you how to use the slide show and content on this page.
- Click
here to visit the OIT site and view player
biographies. This link takes you directly to the OIT web site.
I've also placed the information in a pdf file that I may post
a link for at later date in the event OIT removes the information
from their site. Please let me know when/if this link stops
working and I will ask OIT if it is OK to post the pdf.
- The
Slide Shows
- There
are two stand alone applications that will play the slide shows
on your screen. One show was a compilation of the regular season
and the other was from the trip to the national championship.
You don't need anything but these files to view the shows. You
will have the option to view the photos as a slide show with
music or in a scrapbook format where you can turn the photos
individually. If you need help running the slide show, see the
section above.
- System
Requirements:
- Windows 98/ME/NT
4.0 & sp 6a/2000/XP. The software will not operate on
Win 3.1 or the MacOS--sorry
- 400 mg hz Pentium
II processor or higher--a Pentium III or higher is preferred
- 50 mb's of
free hard drive disc space to store both shows
- VGA Video adapter
capable of driving at least a 14" display to 800 X 600 HiColor
or TrueColor (recommended) display mode
- DirectX 3.0
(8.1 or 9 recommended) or higher for playing sound/music files
- Download
Shows
- The
Regular Season
- Click
here (approximately
25 mb's)
to
download the slide show of the regular season..
- The
NAIA Tournament
- Click
here (approximately
19 mb's)
to
download the slide show of the NAIA championship in Sioux City,
IA.
- Printing
Pictures
- You
will not be able to print photos from the slide shows. If you
do a screen capture, the images will print poorly. I reduced
their quality so that the slide show files would be smaller to
download. This isn't a problem for viewing on computer monitors,
but the images print poorly. For example, most images before
reduction were larger then 4 mbs!
- I
have no problem sharing my photos. If you would like prints,
please contact me by email.
I will arrange for you to get prints. In the past, I've placed
a CD of photos at Leo's
Camera Store in Klamath Falls or uploaded to their online
printing service. If I upload, you can order the prints from
your home and have them delivered in a day or two! Leo's commercial
location in Klamath Falls is setup so that you print the photos
directly from their kiosk in all the popular sizes up to 8"
X 10". I've ordered beautiful posters up to 24" X 30"!
You will only pay for the cost of the print, which will be significantly
less than if you tried to print it on an inkjet printer at home.
Not only will it cost less money, but the print will last much
longer.
- Please
DO NOT ask me to email images--I won't!
